'House of the Dragon' finale leaked online isn't entirely a surprise, given the show's first three episodes were leaked online well before their release. Episode 10 titled 'The Black Queen' followed the same pattern where it was leaked in advance and forced HBO to respond over what it called "unlawful action." This isn't the first time the series has faced leaks as one of the major issues. In 2019, 'GoT' Season 8's Episode 3 was leaked, with fans dissecting it on social media.

Speaking to THR, a spokesperson for the network said, "We are aware that the tenth episode of House of the Dragon has been posted on illegal torrent sites. It appears to have originated from a distribution partner in the EMEA region. HBO is aggressively monitoring and pulling these copies from the internet." The statement further added. "We're disappointed that this unlawful action has disrupted the viewing experience for loyal fans of the show, who will get to see a pristine version of the episode when it premieres Sunday on HBO and HBO Max, where it will stream exclusively in 4K."
