LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There are very few celebrities in Hollywood who haven’t faced the wrath of controversies and tabloids, and most recently, Jonathan Majors has been in the spotlight. After phenomenal performances in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ and ‘Creed III', Majors has been slammed with several allegations of domestic violence, and things aren’t looking too great for the actor, whose career has only just taken off.

Jonathan Majors is currently a very important part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he holds the role of ‘Kang', the newest supervillain of Marvel’s Phase 4. However, could Majors' Marvel journey come to an end? As of now, Marvel hasn’t made a concrete statement about whether or not they will be replacing Jonathan Majors, because let’s face it, it is a big decision. Nevertheless, fans are speculating about who might replace him, should Marvel drop him as Kang.

According to The Direct, one of the actors whose name has been floating around the most in relation to replacing Jonathan Majors is Damson Idris. Idris is an up-and-coming British-Nigerian actor who is most popular for his role in the series ‘Snowfall’ and ‘Swarm.’ Idris is talented, good-looking, charming, and certainly fits the bill to play the role of ‘Kang'.

John Boyega

If you are a fan of the 'Star Wars' franchise, you are most likely well-versed in Boyega’s talent when it comes to acting and versatility. This wouldn’t be the first overlap of actors who have been in the 'Star Wars' and Marvel franchises. John Boyega could easily follow in the footsteps of Samuel L Jackson, Oscar Isaac, Natalie Portman, and others.

Regina Hall

Now this choice will definitely leave a trail of divided fans, some impressed, the others angry. Nevertheless, Regina Hall has established herself as one of the best actresses of her generation, and her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be one of a kind. Kang has more variants than one can count, so there is room for anyone and everyone, including women.

Aldis Hodge

Hodge’s most recent movie is 'Black Adam', aka a DC movie. Considering the fact that 'Black Adam' wasn’t as successful as one would have hoped, maybe it’s time for Hodge to make the shift to Marvel Cinematic Universe instead. Hodge would be a brilliant addition to the mix and would do wonders for his career.

Will Smith

This could be a hit or a miss, there is truly no in-between. Smith has also been a part of his fair share of controversies lately, but nothing nearly as damaging as Jonathan Majors. Smith is an established actor in Hollywood, and Marvel is known for hiring some brilliant A-list actors across generations. While this is slightly unlike, Smith might just be able to pull this role off seamlessly.

There was a time one couldn’t see anyone else but Jonathan Majors play the role of Kang, but times have changed, and we await a decision from Marvel because Phase 4 has begun, and it isn’t long before ‘Loki’ Season 2 arrives!
