What is ‘Heart Shot’ all about?
According to Netflix logline, "High school seniors Nikki and Samantha are in love and planning their future — until Nikki's violent past comes back to threaten everything she holds dear." Sam is delighted to meet Nikki, who is a new girl in town for senior year. She now has someone to spend her time with after her unromantic high school years. But, while things appear to be going well at first, Nikki's baggage may come back to haunt her. The issue now is whether or not these two young lovers will be able to endure the upheaval.
Who stars in ‘Heart Shot’?
Elena Heuzé
Elena is a queer androgynous actress who goes by the pronouns she/they. They were born in the city of San Mateo in the state of California. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, before moving to Los Angeles to study psychology and pursue her acting career.
Nia Sondaya
She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a mother who was a spoken word poet and actor. Unified Management represents Nia, an actress, and model located in Los Angeles. She has worked with a wide range of artists, including August Wilson, Ntozake Shange, Langford Wilson, Sam Shepard, Lorraine Hansberry, and many more. In the year 2016, Nia began studying film acting at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood.
