ALLEN, TEXAS: In a tragic mass shooting that unfolded at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Texas on Saturday, May 6, claimed the lives of multiple individuals. Among the victims was 45-year-old Nick Stabile, whose family confirms he was one of the individuals in this senseless act of violence. 

Shooter Mauricio Garcia, 33, who was eventually killed by the police, slayed eight individuals and injured seven others. The victims were identified namely as Kyu Song Cho, 37, Cindy Cho, 35, James Cho, 3, Christian LaCour, 20, Elio Cumana-Rivas, 32, Aishwarya Thatikonda, 26, Daniela Mendoza, 10, and Sofia Mendoza, 8. As per Fox News, Stabile has been identified as a possible ninth victim, but this information has yet to be confirmed.

Who was Nick Stabile?

Stabile had only recently moved to Allen for a catering job about six months ago after living in Denton. His family remembers him as a beloved member of the community who touched the lives of many. The 45-year-old's friends and colleagues described him as a delightful person to be around. There were initial indications that Stabile's name was included on one of the crosses at the memorial, but it was subsequently removed by painters.

In fact, a Twitter user claimed that no individual named Nick Stabile had died. As of now, the reports of his passing also remain unconfirmed. However, according to the source, there are suggestions that Stabile died in the hospital and could potentially be considered as a ninth victim in addition to those whose names have been officially released by the police. Although there is currently no other evidence or confirmation available regarding his status as a casualty in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and until further information is provided, the details surrounding Stabile's involvement and his status as a victim remain uncertain.

'Right-wing death squad'

Garcia, 33, shared affiliation with white supremacist and neo-Nazi ideologies, and at the time of the shooting, he bore a patch on his chest bearing the acronym "RWDS," widely believed to represent the "right-wing death squad." Prior to the attack, Garcia disseminated a sequence of malicious online posts, explicitly targeting diverse groups such as Jews, women, and people of color. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, and are actively engaging with Garcia's parents and acquaintances, in an endeavor to unravel the factors that compelled him to engage in such a devastating rampage.
