One of the much-anticipated films hitting streaming services this Friday is the Tom Hanks-starrer 'Greyhound'. Produced by Sony, the distribution was sold to Apple TV+ and the film has already garnered positive reviews from critics. Based on the 1955 novel 'The Good Shepherd' authored by C S Forester, the film follows the early days of the United States involvement in World War II.

It focusses on Lieutenant Commander Ernest Krause who led an international convoy of 37 Allied ships over the treacherous North Atlantic while being pursued by wolfpacks of German U-boats. What happens when Krause is given the power to command a destroyer is the central plot of the film. 'Greyhound' boasts of a stellar cast led by Tom Hanks, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. Ahead of the film's release, here's a look at the cast in Aaron Schneider's war drama.
