'Good Bones' Season 5: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about popular HGTV show

Season 5 premiere of 'Good Bones' is slated for June 9, 2020, with a new episode every Tuesday at 9 pm ET/PT.
Plot
The cameras follow Mina, a real estate agent and soon-to-be mom of two, and her mother, Karen, a lawyer, as they buy the most dilapidated properties in their favorite Indianapolis neighborhoods, strip them down to the drywalls and completely transform them into gorgeous, functional family homes. In the premiere episode, Mina and Karen buy their most expensive house to date, a bungalow in the trendy Fountain Square neighborhood that needs serious updates. To retain the home's original charm yet stick to a strict budget and maximize the resale value, they must expertly fix the foundation issues, replace the plaster walls and restore the original hardwood floors. Throughout the season, the duo incorporates creative design elements in every home to attract younger buyers, such as pet-friendly spaces, custom metal staircase art and refurbished antique chandeliers.
Season 4 attracted more than 17.4 million total viewers. This season will spotlight very personal moments for the mother and daughter. Mina will be seen sharing her emotional IVF journey that resulted in her second pregnancy while Karen will announce that she is retiring from the day-to-day operations of the family renovation business.
Cast
Mina Starsiak Hawk
Mina is a real estate agent by profession. "It's been a very busy year renovating homes, opening our new storefront, navigating Mom's retirement, and dealing with the roller coaster of trying to get pregnant, all while raising a toddler," she said about the new season. "I'm excited to share every step with our fans," Mina added. Apart from 'Good Bones', she also appears as a co-host on HGTV's 'Rock The Block' along with Leanne Ford, Jasmine Roth and Alison Victoria.
Karen E Laine
Karen E Laine, a former attorney, brings legal expertise, community-mindfulness, and spirited enthusiasm on the show. "I decided it was the right time to retire from our business, but I'll still be renovating homes with Mina in the city we love," said Karen about her retirement announcement while also adding, "The properties in this season are some of the best we've ever found". She also starred on the HGTV event-series, 'A Very Brady Renovation' along with her daughter, Mina.
