In the last episode we Julian Jerome (William deVry) and Ava (Maura West) at Wyndemere, where the latter was holding a gun asking the former what's next. The brother-sister duo argued about the bomb with Julian telling Ava that he had no choice in the matter. Ava also tells Julian of all the bad choices he's made, but he doesn't want to be judged and decides to leave. Only then did Ava point the gun at Julian's head explaining that as long as he's alive, the family is in danger. Even though Julian points out that Ava is choosing the Cassadine over her own brother, Ava takes him to the parapet for a more "painless" death. Julian asks his sister to tell his kids that he was sorry for being a failure, but before Ava could shoot, Julian adds that he'll see his sister again in hell. It was at this time that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton)  rush out which distracts Ava allowing Julian to jump over the edge. Ava admits that she was hiding her brother from Cyrus, and wanted to kill him after she found out about his wrongdoings. So, is Julian dead?

Julian most likely isn't dead considering GH fans got to see him unconscious, washing up onshore. In the December 2nd episode, we see Sonny and Jason try to figure out what they are to do now. They don't know if he's alive though, but Sonny threatened that if Julian ever shows up again, he'll wish he was dead. This means  Jason's plan of wanting to keep Julian alive to find out more about Cyrus, will not be working out any time soon. Either way, Sonny will want to let Sam know that Julian had almost killed her son, then hopefully Jason and Sonny figure out their next move.

Fans were really happy though that Ava didn't get to actually shoot Julian. So he is hurt we're sure, but probably not dead. "#GH@GeneralHospital I'm glad Ava didn't shoot Julian. Hope he returns someday. I want Lulu & Julian back," wrote one fan. Others even threw a bit of shade, with one disappointed fan writing, "Ava is officially dead to me. Faithless hypocritical w*ore. #GH@GeneralHospital I'll miss you, Julian." Some others were not happy with the way Julian left, as a fan wrote, "I was really hoping Ava would have killed Julian. It would have been poetic. Having Julian jump over himself works too and having him wash up onshore allows him to come back if they want him back. Doubt anything would stick for long term though all things considered. #GH"
