Harlots star Ash Hunter tried to pry 'Game of Thrones' spoilers from drunk co-star Alfie Allen, but failed miserably

Ash Hunter, who plays ‘GoT’ star Alfie Allen’s brother on Hulu’s ‘Harlots,’ revealed that Allen would not let go of any spoilers despite the number of times he asked and how much drunker he got.

Two months after the airing of ‘Game of Thrones’ finale, it is still possibly the most talked about show in the world and for good reason. The HBO show had intricate storylines and complex characters, whose next moves could not be predicted and to keep it that way, the showrunners, cast and crew held on to every tiny detail very fiercely.

It was always evident just how seriously they took that responsibility and now we know this for sure. Ash Hunter, who plays ‘GoT’ star Alfie Allen’s brother on Hulu’s ‘Harlots,’ revealed that Allen would not let go of any spoilers (this was before the show aired) despite the number of times he asked and how much drunker he got.

“GoT is the only TV show I watch,” Hunter tells MEA World Wide (MEAWW), adding how his fan-boy moments with Allen evidently annoyed him after a point. The on-screen brothers got on like a house of fire, he claims, adding how they met on the sets of ‘Harlots’ season 3 and proceeded to drink whiskey together at his house for eight hours straight the following day.

The ‘GoT’ fan in Hunter could not let the hang go by without trying to get his hands on some spoilers, but to no avail. He says, “No matter how drunk we got he actually didn't give me any spoilers and trust me, I tried my hardest to find out first.”

On the Hulu show, Allen and Hunter play the Pincher brothers, who spell bad news for our homegirl Charlotte Wells (Jessica Brown Findlay). That is not to say that the Pinchers are villains – if ‘Harlots’ has taught us anything it is that no one is black or white, but various shades of grey.

Hunter’s Hal, for example, is a very calm and collected man who has learned to control his emotions over the course of his hard life experiences. Meanwhile, Allen’s Isaac is more volatile and impatient, but his love for his brother is pure and abundant.

Season 3 of ‘Harlots’ premieres on Hulu on July 10, 2019.
