From Homelander to Frenchie: The Boys Season 5 Characters Likely to Die Before the Finale

In the end, it has to be Homelander (Antony Starr) kicking the bucket. Those familiar with his death in the comics will know that Black Noir kills Homelander in the Oval Office after the supe takes out the President. But with Butcher (Karl Urban) and the antagonist yet to trade blows in one explosive confrontation, the Noir storyline has been altered. Things will have to come to an end for the evil superhero at some point. So, expect Homelander to be one of the many biting the dust.

Season 4 of The Boys confirmed that Karl Urban's Billy Butcher was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer after his extensive use of Temp V. This makes him one of the prime candidates to die, especially since all signs point to trading blows with Homelander. His vicious vendetta means bringing down the supe in the end, but also not possibly surviving the finale.

Much like A-Train, The Deep (Chace Crawford) was supposed to redeem himself at some point. However, the character has proved himself to be an absolute fraud, serving his own personal interests and kissing the ring.

After making it through four seasons, there is a high possibility that his time on the series will come to an end. Furthermore, he isn't liked by Homelander either. The only question that remains is who kills him: The Boys or Homelander?

The Boys Season 5 revealed Sister Sage's (Susan Heyward) true intentions. She pitted Homelander against Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), hoping it would help her achieve the objective of getting the supes to turn on each other and fight to the death. While she did give the 'Joker' vibes in The Boys Episode 6, Homelander is now aware of the smartest supe on earth playing him for a fool. Now, it is only a matter of which episode she dies in.

After teasing a romantic arc with Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara), the show might just add another casualty to the mix by killing Frenchie (Tomer Capone). Whether he's collateral damage or Homelander's target remains to be seen. In the comics, he is killed by Billy Butcher, though the series might possibly take a different route.
