MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the horrific quadruple murder of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin in Moscow, Idaho, has the attention of the entire nation  especially, since the circumstances surrounding the killing and motive. Daily Mail’s Caitlyn Becker, who has been studying the case closely, shared a few aspects of Kohberger’s personality.

The 28-year-old is the youngest among three siblings hailing from a lower-middle class suburban Pennsylvania family. He was described as an overweight boy bullied by many over his size, but turned into a strict vegan and heroin abuser, as per reports. It is also said that he remained awkward with girls and was ‘made fun of’ by cheerleader type girls constantly. According to one of his school friends, between his junior and senior years in high school, the bullied turned into a bully. The owner of a bar near his home referred to him as ‘creepy’ over his interactions with female staffers and other members.

'Kohberger may be freed'

Becker also reminded about Kohberger’s stint as an assistant teacher at Washington State University from where he was fired. He was accused of sexism and allegedly told female colleagues that ‘men were going to take their jobs because women aren’t as smart grading female students more harshly than males, as per a NewsNation report. Kohberger who is awaiting a preliminary hearing hadn’t said much, but his defense team is actively working to get him out of prison. It is being reported that one of the survivors, Bethany Funke, 21, will be testifying on his behalf and may clear his name. She is said to have information from the night of the crime which can work in his favor. 

'Bethany Grace Funke has agreed for an interview'

According to the Daily Mail report, the court documents obtained by the outlet reveals that Funke will be interviewed by Kohberger’s defense council in Reno, Nevada. “The basis for this stipulation is that BETHANY GRACE FUNKE, through her attorney, has agreed for an interview with Idaho defense counsel in Reno, Nevada, in lieu of proceeding forward with the subpoena for Preliminary Hearing now set June 26 through June 30,” it reads.
