Florida man tells cops 'I'm not good at shoplifting' after being caught stealing from Walmart on August 8
LARGO, FLORIDA: A Florida man was caught attempting to steal bicycle accessories from a Walmart, at which point he realized he's not very good at stealing. Before his most recent arrest, 53-year-old Daniel Kaczmar had been caught stealing more than once.
Earlier this week, Kaczmar was detained after trying to steal a bicycle pump, a lock, and an inner tube from a Walmart in Largo, Florida. Security at the store saw him concealing $35.88 worth of goods under his t-shirt before leaving without making a purchase, as reported by Outkick.
What did Daniel Kaczmar told officers?
He was discovered with the stolen goods outside the store, where the police were called. Kaczmar reportedly told responding officers, "I'm not good at shoplifting," as he parked his bike outside the store with a flat tire, according to Largo police officer Luis Rodriguez.
Although he has been found guilty of theft twice, he is certainly not a liar. He is absolutely terrible at shoplifting. Loss prevention's version of events was corroborated by the police after they watched the surveillance footage. Kaczmar was therefore taken into custody.
What are the charges against Daniel Kaczmar?
He was charged with a felony for his failed attempt to steal the bike accessories because he had already been convicted of theft twice before. His bail was set at $2,000 after his arrest.
Was Daniel Kaczmar arrested earlier?
Kaczmar has reportedly been arrested for stealing more than once recently, according to The Smoking Gun. He was detained last month at a different Florida Walmart in addition to his convictions from 1989 and 2007.
He allegedly stole $20 worth of sandwiches and drinks from a Walmart in St Petersburg when he was detained at the time. To make matters worse, he was also accused of having fentanyl and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Florida man fights with Mc Donald's staff
In a different case, a Florida man is facing numerous charges after he allegedly confronted McDonald's employees after complaining about his order and hurling rocks at the eatery.
According to The News-Press, the argument between the parties became heated, and Luis Fernando Hernandez Larraga moved his argument behind the restaurant's counter while pleading for his money back.
Larraga was released on the same day after posting a $2,250 bond.
