SANFORD, FLORIDA: In a bizarre incident, a couple in Central Florida is now wanted by the Sanford Police Department for allegedly shoplifting a PlayStation 5 (PS5) controller worth $74.99 from a local Target store.

What sets this theft apart is the Florida man and his partner's bold pitstop for coffee at Starbucks before making their exit.

The incident, caught on surveillance cameras, shows the Florida man, sporting a black tank top, patterned shorts, and black shoes, holding a Starbucks beverage.

His companion, a woman dressed in a brown dress and white sandals, stands beside him. The peculiar sequence of events has left both law enforcement and netizens intrigued.

Individuals possessing any pertinent information regarding the incident are encouraged to reach out to the Sanford Police Department to help the investigation.

Florida man arrested for threatening construction workers with gun over ruining his lawn

In another incident, a Florida man allegedly held two construction workers at gunpoint on Thursday, September 7, due to his concern that they might damage the grass on his lawn.

As per Miami Herald, based on the charging document, a deputy from the Lee County Sheriff's Office was dispatched in response to a disturbance call at Timothy Demarse’s residence in Fort Myers, Florida, at approximately 9 pm.

The two construction workers, who were concluding their work for the day, encountered an alarming situation when the Florida man emerged from his residence brandishing a firearm. He proceeded to issue threats to shoot them if any harm were to befall his prized lawn.

Subsequently, the Florida man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon. He promptly posted bail, securing his release from custody, as per NBC affiliate WBBH

In the aftermath of these events, following the issuance of a search warrant, a deputy initiated a thorough search of Demarse's residence. A firearm closely matching the description provided by the victims was discovered in the Florida man's garage.

The weapon was identified as a black and silver Smith & Wesson 9 Tactical pistol, found to be loaded and equipped with a magazine capable of holding nine rounds of 9mm ammunition. It was located in plain view on a shelf within the confines of the garage.
