Florida man, 71, caught spying on female neighbor through bathroom window half-naked on August 23
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA: A Florida man has been arrested by Pinellas County deputies in the wee hours of Wednesday, August 23, for spying on his female neighbor through the bathroom window.
David Lee Henning, 71, was completely nude from the waist down when police nabbed him.
What did David Lee Henning do?
On Tuesday, August 22, the woman first informed the Pinellas County police about a man trespassing on her property in the morning hours to watch her getting ready for work.
On Wednesday morning, the authorities were ready to catch the suspect and came to the property with deputies.
Per New York Post, a little after 5 am, when a Henning snuck up to the woman’s Seminole home, authorities caught him.
In the bodycam video, the suspect was heard asking the police, “Can I please get dressed?”
During Heening's arrest, officers had to tackle him to the pavement, causing him to sustain a few cuts in his browline and forehead.
He was seen bleeding in his mugshot and the bodycam footage too.
In order to spy on the woman, Henning allegedly had to sneak into the yard of her Gulf Coast home through an enclosed privacy fence. He then used to take his position outside the bathroom window.
Sergeant Amanda Sinni said, “When detectives interviewed Henning, he admitted to regularly entering the victim’s yard and watching her through the window because he was curious and sexually motivated to see her naked.”
The septuagenarian has been charged with voyeurism and two counts of burglary. He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail, per Fox 13.
Louisiana man arrested for video voyeurism
In a similar incident, on June 5, the Kenner Police Department arrested a 22-year-old Louisiana man for video voyeurism, per Fox 8.
Officials found the suspect recording videos of unsuspecting female customers under their dresses at Walmart.
Officials arrived at the scene at 9.07 pm after a Walmart asset protection associate reported the incident.
The police found 22-year-old Justin Simmons from Montz recording videos of unsuspecting female customers.
He was promptly detained and his phone was confiscated. The man was arrested and charged with two counts of video voyeurism.
