'Flesh and Blood' is a four-part series joining PBS masterpiece's impressive list of short mystery dramas. Murder is of course the focus and 'whodunnit' is always the question. The series brings to you how indulging in any of the deadly sins a tad too much can be more than just a burden on a "happy" family and can also lead to murder. Here is what we know of the upcoming mystery thriller.

Release date

Flesh and Blood premieres on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

Plot

Episode 1: "When Vivien introduces her new boyfriend Mark to her three grown children, they are suspicious. Meanwhile, their own lives are a mess."
Episode 2: "As Vivien and Mark grow closer, her kids become progressively more unhinged. Vivien’s inquisitive neighbor Mary does some investigating of her own."
Episode 3: "As Vivien and Mark prepare for a trip to India, Jake gets a hot tip. Helen and Natalie both reach crisis points with their partners."
Episode 4: "Four relationships spiral out of control. Vivien tries to dismiss her children's fears about Mark. Mary responds to an emergency."

Trailer

The official trailer of the series is yet to be released, stay tuned for updates. The preview has been released by the network. The preview starts with investigators interviewing all the characters that we later find out are only being questioned because of a murder. It's a quiet mystery with touches of melancholy that probably make the entire story creepier. It seems to have a welcoming start, reminding us of 'Desperate Housewives' but you know, killers can also be inviting.
