On the season finale of Dave and Jenny Marrs’ ‘Fixer to Fabulous’, a young Literature teacher Bowman Cooper was their client. Cooper who used to live in New York is a seventh grade English teacher.

Tired of living in tiny over-expensive apartments, Cooper moved back to Arkansas looking for a more spacious place to live. Dave and Jenny had previously renovated her parents’ home, so one day when Cooper found the perfect house, she knew who to call for the perfect renovation.

The house dated back to 1888 which was not a problem for Cooper because she loved history but sadly none of the vintage aesthetics were well preserved and the condition of the house was very poor. The house looked asymmetrical since it had its entrance on the side instead of the center, a detail neither Cooper nor the Marrs couple were a fan of.

The porch leaked water and it was completely rotten and the inside of the house was worse than the outside. But that made it possible for her to get the house at a great price. She paid $246,250 for the house and had a renovation budget of $120,000. Her only demand from the Marrs was that she wanted the house to be pink!

Bowman’s white ruffled top and blue jeans with gold accessories and wavy hair screamed aesthetics and the Marrs immediately knew she loved a mix of classic and vintage with a little bit of mystery in the house.

Jenny Marrs took to Instagram to write about her experience with the last renovation of the season, “Bowman Cooper wanted a pink house, so I had to call in an expert to help me choose the perfect hue (because a pink house could be downright charming OR... the opposite. I had to get it just right!)."

She continued, "My favorite pink princess design assistant extraordinaire took her role VERY seriously and she picked the most perfect paint colors for this one. I can’t wait for you all to see how it turned out! You may just start painting your own walls pink! #fixertofab Season Two FINALE is tonight on @hgtv at 9|8c! You don’t want to miss this one!!”

They painted the outside and inside of the house with the same pink hue and contrasted it against a dark gray colour. They played around with the color white in the kitchen because Cooper wanted a bright kitchen. They also painted the hardwood floor white. The house looked like a Barbie's castle and a dream house for all those who want a house with ultimate feminine energy.

They renovated the loft into a beautiful little reading space like Cooper asked and carved out the words ‘Looking Good’ on the bathroom floor using pebble tiles. Since Cooper was also interested in the history of the house Jenny Marrs got hold of a picture of the people who used to live there in the 1800 and framed it for Cooper to cherish forever.

Just the moment when Cooper thought that was it, Dave asked her to slide open her kitchen island countertop. Confused Cooper slid it off to find a hidden passage that leads to the underground area. Turned out there was an existing underground area in the house that Cooper wasn’t aware about. They transformed it into a wine cellar and a place where Cooper could relax and even have friends over. All in all, it was a great end to a wonderful season.
