LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' star Tom Holland has been in the headlines either for his back to back hits or his relationship with his Marvel star, Zendaya. Nevertheless, since  his breakout role as Peter Parker in 'Captain America: Civil War,' Holland has spearheaded his own trilogy of 'Spider-Man' films – including the box office smash 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' – and launched a new franchise as Nathan Drake in the video-game adaptation of 'Uncharted'. Apple TV+ has released first-look images of its upcoming limited series 'The Crowded Room,' which stars Tom Holland. The 10-episode thriller series will premiere with its first three episodes in the first week of June. The rest of the cast outside of Holland and Seyfried includes the likes of Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Christopher Abbott, Will Chase and more.

Created by 'A Beautiful Mind' Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, 'The Crowded Room' is inspired by — but is not a direct adaptation of —Daniel Keyes’ 1981 nonfiction book 'The Minds of Billy Milligan.' Regardless, as per Discussing Films, Apple TV+ has newly dropped the first look of Tom Holland in the new Drama series. Holland is no stranger to drama, thriller, and mystery, be it in his heart-wrenching role in The Impossible or as a war veteran struggling with PTSD in Cherry. Not only should fans share in Holland's excitement ahead of the release of 'The Crowded Room,' but it is important to recognize the project is the first in which the actor will double up on duties, as he has taken on an executive producer role.

'0 career outside of spider-man'

Fans were quick to troll Holland's new look. A fan said, "He looks like homeless spiderman with that hairstyle." A fan commented, "I’m sorry but this guy is going to have 0 career outside of spider-man. He doesn’t have the stuff to be a dramatic actor," while another wrote, "When it’s called “The Crowded Room” but he’s the only one in it." A fan shared, "dude grew that shaggy hair fr," while another said, "We will not be watching."

Nevertheless, 'The Crowded Room' is set to release on Apple TV+ on Jun. 9.
