Elle Edwards: Cops arrest third suspect in fatal pub shooting that left beautician dead on Christmas Eve
MERSEYSIDE, UK: The authorities have arrested the third suspect in Elle Edwards' death, a beautician, who was killed in a deadly pub shooting on Christmas Eve. The suspect is a 31-year-old man who is currently booked on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He was released on bail pending further inquiries, while two other suspects related to the horrific murder walked out on bail as well. On December 24, Edwards died in an open fire between two gang members in Wallasey, Merseyside.
The 26-year-old was enjoying her drink in the outdoor seating area of the Lighthouse Inn. The investigative team believes that the gunman was possibly tipped off that a man he had a scuffle with recently, was among the drinkers outside. With bullets flowing all over, one of them hit Edwards in the head and later she succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital. There were other four men, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shootout, however, one remains in critical condition. Edward's parents wrote an emotional statement on her loss, "There was no one as beautiful as our Elle May, her looks, her laugh, and the way she would light up a room as soon as she walked in. She had this way about her that as soon as you met her you just instantly fell in love with her.”
