GLYNN COUNTY, GEORGIA: One of the accused teens involved in the 19-year-old Trent Lehrkamp attack reportedly shot a girl with a water-pellet gun at the same property in Saint Simon's Island where Lehrkamp was hosed down, taped to a chair, and force-fed alcohol and other substances. The mother of the girl, who is not named, informed that she filed charges in mid-March, however, no action was taken.
According to DailyMail, Edward Rooker Hobby, 17, allegedly attacked the girl, who was in a bikini top and shorts, at point-blank range in the back with an Orbeez water-pellet gun when she stopped by the $645K property owned by James and Lauren Strother. The outlet also updated that as per Interim Police Chief O'Neal Jackson, the property had been visited by cops at least 11 times in the eight months before the Glynn County Police started their investigation into Lehrkamp's case.

Who is Edward Rooker Hobby?
Hobby is one of Lehrkamp's alleged attackers and the only one whose name has been made public. Prior to this attack, he was arrested in November 2022 after his mother called 911 and was charged with criminal trespass. He spent three days in jail for an incident involving a smashed mirror and pot at his mother. In the incident report for his arrest, his mother informed the cops that he was having a problem with drinking.

The Glynn County Police Chief told WSAV on Thursday, April 6, that the investigators are now working on the teenage girl's case. While DailyMail states the girl "feels depressed and doesn't want to go back to school, but also refused to go back to the Strother property after what happened."
Following the details of the girl, people were quick to react. One wrote, "They seriously need to arrest these kids." One more commented, "Why were they allowed to drink at this home?? They were UNDERAGE!!! Arrest the parents." Another questioned, "So, where are the owners of this home? Surely they are not leaving minors drinking at their home unsupervised. I believe there could be a lawsuit against these parents, as well."

Details of Trent Lehrkamp's Incident
Lehrkamp was picked up from his house on the evening of March 21, where he expected to have a "casual night out with friends." However, the night out landed him in the hospital. Lehrkamp's friend Michael Sullins said he'd been beaten, bullied, had acid poured down his throat, peed on, and been force-fed vodka, reports 11Alive. Following the incident, a Snapchat photo went viral showing the signs of abuse. According to CBS News, his blood alcohol level was at 0.464. The legal BAL in Georgia is 0.08. Lehrkamp was barely breathing and was extremely intoxicated when he was dropped off at the Southeast Georgia Health Center by three boys. He was admitted to ICU. But now, he is out of it and has thanked everyone for their support and said, "Justice will be served,” Action News JAX.
