'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' Fan Review: 'What a missed opportunity'
It wasn't the kind of response Marvel Studios may have expected. 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' opened to mixed responses, and safe to say, after a good combing of reactions on social media, fans leaned on the grumpy side as the movie didn't exactly meet the expectations. While one segment was all praise for various reasons, the more staunch MCU fandom was having none of it as they called the movie patchy and stupid.
The movie sees Benedict Cumberbatch's Strange suit up to protect America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) from Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda after she decided to live a life with her children no matter the consequences — one of which is acquiring America's powers by killing her. Predictably, the movie ends with Wanda's downfall and a new direction for Strange.

"Watched the new #DrStrange. Painfully stupid. Just awful. Wanted to walk out it was so bad. Wish I had. It did not get better and I would have saved myself a migraine. Do yourself a favor and just download a s**tty pirated cam version or just skip it. It's bad," a fan remarked.
