Howard Stern may have just leaked MCU's next project. The Radio host, per reports, was heard talking to a producer about his plans for the summer — one of which is plans to appear in 'Doctor Doom' in some capacity. He even brought up Robert Downey Jr's name, "they're going over the schedule with me, and it's going to suck," Stern was heard saying.

"I told you, I'm going to do 'Doctor Doom.' That's the thing. But believe me, I'm f**king miserable about it...I called Robert Downey, Jr and I was asking him acting techniques." The clip began doing the rounds on social media causing quite the flurry. There are two ways to look at this update, either Stern's leak is solid considering the character who has been in the conversation as the MCU's next baddie. Or, it could all be a joke.

While Doom is yet to make his appearance in the MCU, he was the villain in 'Fantastic Four' (2005) with Julian McMahon playing Victor Von Doom. He reprised his role in the sequel, 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer'. The iconic antagonist was also seen in the damp Sony reboot starring Miles Teller and Michael B Jordan with Toby Kebbell playing Doom. The recent 'Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness' saw John Krasinski as Reed Richards in a cameo, and news of Doom making his inevitable appearance has been doing the rounds. With Kang the Conqueror already in line, it's only a matter before we see another supervillain.

With another 'Fantastic Four' reboot in the works, it remains to be seen if Doom will indeed show up. MCU Fandom provides the perfect description of the villain: "Dr. Victor von Doom aka Doctor Doom is a Latverian politician who serves as the Monarch and Supreme Leader for the Kingdom of Latveria. He was scarred from an accident and wears an iron mask and armor to hide his true face."

It adds, "He is considered one of the most brilliant minds and scientists on the planet Earth.[37] He is also a sorcerer with skills in magic matching the most powerful beings in the Universe, making him a potential candidate for Sorcerer Supreme.[38] He hopes to bring order and betterment to humanity through world conquest.[39] Unequaled in ability, ego, and willpower, he has come into conflict with both superhumans and cosmic beings. He is best known as the rival of Reed Richards and archenemy of the Fantastic Four."
