Did Bri McNees and Connor Spies get married? ‘Love Is Blind 10’ couple raises eyebrows with rocky romance
Packed with romance, drama, and major over-the-top moments, Netflix's 'Love Is Blind' Season 10 is anything but predictable. While Season 10 follows seven couples taking their relationships to the next level through engagements, one couple even exchanged wedding vows, and honestly, we never saw it coming. Despite doubts over their rocky romance, Brianna McNees and Connor Spies are officially married. The couple tied the knot in Hamilton County, Ohio, on March 28, 2025, according to a marriage certificate obtained by The US Sun.
The document lists Spies as an account manager and McNees as a senior merchant, the same career she mentioned on the show. The filing confirms that neither party has been previously married and was signed by both individuals, along with Judge Ralph Winkler. This development comes as a shock, as early on in the show, McNees formed two strong emotional connections, one with 33-year-old account executive Chris Fusco and another with Spies.
At the same time, Spies was also developing a meaningful bond with retail merchandiser Emma Betsinger, while Fusco found a spark with 39-year-old infectious-disease physician Jessica Barrett, setting up a complicated love triangle inside the pods. As emotions intensified on the show, McNees struggled to choose her future partner, admitting, "When am I going to find someone that does everything?" after confiding in fellow contestant Ashley during Episode 3.
Ultimately, McNees and Spies chose each other, ending their other connections. Spies moved their relationship forward by proposing in Episode 4, leading McNees to respond, “You've been my slow burn from the start, but falling in love with you more and more each day has been my favorite part." However, trouble soon began brewing in paradise as McNees questioned whether their story would truly translate into real life. Although the couple shared a wholesome, fairy-tale beginning and headed to Cabo together, the honeymoon excitement quickly began to fade.
In confessional interviews, McNees admitted she felt underwhelmed after meeting everyone in person, questioning why interactions felt "shallow" compared to the "deep connections" formed in the pods. She later told Spies, "I feel like out of respect for the connections and the things that we had in the pods, I just felt like we would've actually had a more genuine conversation… it bothered me."
McNees also acknowledged she wanted another round of conversation with her former connection, Fusco, which later took place at a pool party. As expected, the exchange raised eyebrows, as Spies' brief chat with Betsinger appeared uneventful. McNees' behavior at times suggested she was seeking validation or testing lingering feelings, fueling speculation she might leave Spies. Even Spies admitted it felt weird to see her struggle over a connection she had already ended. However, despite the tension and uncertainty, the couple ultimately got their happily ever after.
