After seven episodes of twisted plotlines, heavy doses of quantum mechanics blended into philosophy, Hulu’s latest and hottest sci-fi thriller finally came to an end. And it was explosive in every way of its concept.

All along we were presented with the argument between the theory of determinism and the theory of the multiverse. Lyndon (Cailee Spaeny) insisted on the existence of multiple dimensions and timelines while Forest (Nick Offerman) stuck to his belief of determinism. In the end, it all came down together, proving that both exist, one within another. But it didn’t come across as simply as it sounds now that we write it down.

The ending scenes have driven fans off the rails and they can’t seem to wrap their heads around what happened in the finale.

One fan on Twitter says, “#Devs just shattered my brain. Exploding head#DevsFinale #DevsFX.”

Another fan is confused about what happens to the characters and demands answers.  "Just finished the finale of #DevsFX. Holy shit. What happened to Katie? Do Lily and Forest have that cup of coffee?  What do they talk about?! I NEED ANSWERS!” he asks.

Another user on Twitter posts a funny GIF (man’s brain exploding) as his reaction to the finale and comments, “#DevsFX is showing me what would happen with my thoughts if I ever pushed through with Philosophy in college. What a show !”

Most fans feel that the slow-burn intensity of the storytelling was worth it. “Gotta say, did not think the juice ended up being worth the squeeze with #DevsFX..the pacing of that entire 8 hours ended up feeling like I invested at least twice that amount of time for a very minimal payoff. Nick Offerman was still great though”, says a fan.

“Wow is that show #DevsFX F****d up and cool at the same time? The V is roman”, another continues.

Parting off with this tweet from a fan, “Sooooo many thoughts about the ending of #DevsFX .....” while we keep mulling over the many interpretations to what we saw and understood.

Tell us what you think of the ending chapter of this mind-bending thriller?

‘Devs’ Episode 1 through 8 are now available on Hulu.
