'90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' stars Darcey and Stacey Silva are one of the most popular twins on television. Following the popularity of the show, TLC last month announced an all-new series dedicated to the up-and-down lives of the most buzzworthy set of identical twins in pop culture today. Titled 'Darcey & Stacey', the series will provide an inside look into the lives of the identical twins as well as their family. Here's all you should know about it:
Release Date
'Darcey & Stacey' will premiere on August 16 and a new episode will air every Sunday night at 10 pm ET/PT.
Plot
According to TLC's press release, "In 'DARCEY & STACEY', the twins open the doors wide to their lives while they juggle relationships, family and their unique world of being twins. As the series begins, we follow Darcey as she heals over yet another failed relationship with British ex-boyfriend Tom and Stacey as she gears up for a major step in her own love life. After a five-year engagement with Albanian fiancé Florian, they have finally been approved for the K-1 Visa."
"Florian and Stacey will have 90 days to get married once Florian arrives, but Darcey has lingering doubts about his commitment to Stacey after photos of him with another woman surfaced online, sparking rumors that he was unfaithful. The twins have always done everything together – they were married and divorced at the same time, have raised their families in the same home, and even got cosmetic surgery together!"
"Now, Stacey is preparing for her new life with Florian while Darcey is on a mission to find a whole new love. And, while Darcey always seems to get hit by cupid’s international arrow, she finds, once again, that love is never easy. The twin sisters have made it big on-screen but they were making big moves in their career even before becoming reality stars. According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, They co-founded a production company, Eleventh Entertainment, together before appearing on the TLC series. Through Eleventh Entertainment, Stacey and Darcey served as co-executive producers with their father, Mike Silva, on the 2013 rap comedy film 'White T', starring Jerod Mixon of 'Old School' and Jamal Mixon of 'The Nutty Professor'. Darcey and Stacey also appeared in the film in small roles as Coco and Chanel, according to IMDB.
They also have a fashion brand called House of Eleven. Nicki Minaj, Jessica Alba, and other major stars have been spotted donning the brand's collections. Demi Lovato even wore House of Eleven leggings on an album cover. The sisters have also tried their hands at music. They provided background vocals for a song on 'White T' and released their first single in 2018. The dance-pop song, called 'Lock Your Number' debuted at Miami Swim Week.
