There's no place like home. Ever since the pandemic took over the world, most people have been confined to their homes. Considering we have been spending so much of our time inside our home, many have taken up to redesigning and redecorating their homes. During the redesigning and redecoration projects, most people tend to focus a lot on the interiors of the home, while the exteriors are ignored or neglected.

The exterior of the house is as important as the interior, as the first impressions of a house are often made based on how it looks from the outside. Renovating and beautifying the outdoor living spaces can be pretty challenging, and nobody knows this better than the hosts of the new HGTV show 'Curb Appeal Xtreme'- John Gidding, Rachel Taylor and Jamie Durie. The trio takes on complete makeovers of home exteriors and landscaping to create some spectacular first impressions on theHGTV show

Release date

'Curb Appeal Xtreme' is all set to premiere on Wednesday, September 8 on HGTV. You can catch a sneak-peek of the show on September 7 at 10/9c on HGTV.

How to watch 'Curb Appeal Xtreme'?

Apart from catching the television premiere of 'Curb Appeal Xtreme', viewers can also catch up on the show on Discovery+ account. Episodes are available to stream a day in advance for those who are subscribed to the app. Apart from these options, the new season will also be available to stream on the HGTV Go app. Viewers can also access the episodes using other streaming services including Philo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, Vidgo, AT&T TV, and fuboTV.

Plot

The press release for the show states, "HGTV’s popular outdoor renovation show 'Curb Appeal' will get a fresh spin in the newly greenlit series 'Curb Appeal Xtreme'. The new series will combine the architectural and design savvy of John Gidding, the landscaping genius of Jamie Durie and the custom carpentry and furniture wizardry of Rachel Taylor. The six hour-long episodes will follow the talented trio as they dramatically overhaul the front and backyards of homes in Nashville, Tennessee, creating breathtaking outdoor living spaces that include features such as game rooms and open-air kitchens to maximize each property’s potential and value."

“Jamie, John and Rachel are a dream team of outdoor design experts and they will dazzle fans with ingenious and innovative building and landscaping ideas,” said Jane Latman, president, HGTV. “In the coming months, many of us will be spending time in our own backyards, so we’ll need all the inspiration we can get.”

Designer John Gidding, Horticulturalist Jamie Durie and Carpenter Rachel Taylor join forces to dramatically overhaul the front and backyards of homes. In an Instagram post promoting the new HGTV show, Rachel wrote, "Filming the first Season of Curb Appeal Xtreme meant design, demolition and building in extreme weather with extreme time frames and extreme scopes of work. And yet we smile like kids and want more! John, Jamie and I are so happy to be bringing you the best outdoor lawn and backyard makeover show in all the lands.
