If you love shows such as ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘So You Think You can Dance’, then you would definitely love ‘Come Dance with Me’.

Just like we mentioned above, there will be 12 teams on the show and one of the teams to appear on the show is Kamryn and Adriana Smith. Let’s get to know more about the dynamic mother-daughter duo.

Who are Kamryn and Adriana Smith? The duo made an appearance on ‘Dance Moms’?

If Kamryn and Adriana Smith sound familiar to you, then you are definitely a fan of ‘Dance Moms’. The mother-daughter duo made an appearance on Season 8 of the popular reality series and created a lot of impact.

Born on May 12, 2011, Kamryn Smith is a dancer from Soul Shock Dance in Phoenix, Arizona. The young star started dancing at the age of 2 and requested her mom Adriana Smith to put her in dance classes. Kamryn immediately took admission in ballet and tap dance. But it’s not just some hobby for her, dance is something that she takes pride in and always works hard to get better at it.

She has participated in a lot of dance competitions and it doesn’t come as a shock that she has won a lot of trophies because of her extraordinary talent, including the 2018 Petite National Dancer of the Year at the Rainbow Dance Competition in Panama City, Florida.

Meanwhile, Adriana Smith is a digital creator and has a YouTube channel as well where she posts videos of her family. She also has an Instagram page ‘Kamryn and Adriana’ where she posts dance videos of Kamryn and herself.

Adriana also made an appearance in Season 8 of ‘Dance Moms’ and called her daughter on the show as well. However, their appearance on the show got a lot of eyeballs because of the controversy that took place during the eighth edition.  In 2020, Adriana Smith posted blackout square on Instagram and everyone believed that it was observed to protest against police brutality and racism. However, her next social media poster revealed that it had something to do with Abby Lee Miller, the owner of Abby Lee Dance Company.

In the post, Smith accused Miller of racist behavior and pulled her daughter Kamryn out of the show due to the same reason. She wrote, “What I'm not going to have to happen is have this racist person have any part of my daughter’s life as of this moment.”

Miller issued an apology to the family and admitted that it was her “fault”. Although Smith didn’t accept her apology because she felt that the apology was “not sincere”.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how the mother-daughter performs at ‘Come Dance with Me’.

‘Come Dance with Me’ will premiere exclusively on CBS on Friday, April 15, at 8 pm EST.
