'Dancing with the Stars': Fans debate Kaitlyn Bristowe’s full score, say Carrie’s 10 was due to 'bad press'

According to fans, the chemistry between the couple and the judge has evidently changed, and they feel that the judge has been overly nice and sweet to Kaitlyn and Artem lately

The ‘Bachelorette’ star Kaitlyn Bristowe has come a long way on Season 29 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Although she has been a tough competition with some great scores throughout the season, the reality star had to prove herself in the judges’ redemption round in the semi-finals by dancing to Paso Doble with her pro-dancer partner Artem, as Week 7 for the couple turned out to be disastrous when they first tried the dance form. Mentored and guided by Carrie Ann Inaba, Kaitlyn and Artem delivered a head-turning performance in their first dance for the semi-finals round and earned themselves a perfect full score from the judges. 

All the judges heaped Kaitlyn with praise for her mind-blowing performance and showered her with all 10s. The couple made it to the top of the rank chart and fans couldn’t stop raving about it. However, Twitter also witnessed opposed opinions about Kaitlyn’s performance as some of them noted that Carrie only gave her a 10 owing to their not-so-cordial relationship in the recent past. 

‘Dancing with the Stars’ fans for a long time have discussed Carrie’s treatment of Kaitlyn throughout the course of the dancing reality show. Many of them believe that Carrie has been “hard” on Kaitlyn, despite ‘The Bachelorette’ fame delivering some of the greatest performances. Meanwhile, a few dragged Carrie for her romantic past with Kaitlyn’s dancing partner Artem and pointed out that she’s being personal with her scoring. However, the chemistry between the couple and the judge has evidently changed according to fans as they feel the judge has been overly nice and sweet to Kaitlyn and Artem lately. 

After seeing Carrie give a full 10 to Kaitlyn in the semi-finals, a lot of fans couldn’t help but wonder what’s making her behave the way she does with Kaitlyn. One tweeted, "So true and Carrie Ann is just sucking up to her because Kaitlyn and Artem gave her bad press #DWTS" While another added, "Carrie is scared to critique Kaitlyn bc it the backlash she got #DWTS" Another tweeted, "Carrie Ann just said a 10 is when we can feel the magic so explain this to me how the hell were any of Kaitlyn’s dances a 10??? I FELT NO MAGIC! #DWTS" And one opined, "Carrie Ann for Kaitlyn’s judge is bullshit. But I was lmao at Carrie Ann saying with a straight face that her judgments are never personal. Riiiight. #DWTS!"
