With the trees and lights going up across the world, the countdown for Christmas 2019 has already begun. What could make the festival better than sipping on an egg-nog and listening to your favorite carol? Watching a holiday special while curled up on your bed, of course! As part of its Christmas special programs, UPtv is premiering the romantic drama, ‘Christmas in Paris’, and here’s everything you need to know about the film.

‘Christmas in Paris’ will premiere on UPtv on December 8.

Plot

‘Christmas in Paris’ is a romantic drama based on Harlequin’s novel ‘A Fortune of Texas Christmas’. The film deals with Lucas, a wealthy business tycoon based in France, who visits Montana to finalize an attractive deal. However, the trip meant for professional reasons takes a different shape when he meets Robin. The rest of the film follows his efforts to woo her to bring her with him to Paris, until Robin is exposed to a truth about Lucas, which pushes him away from her.

Cast

Rebecca Dalton

Rebecca Dalton is a Canadian actress who will be essaying Robin in ‘Christmas in Paris’. She made her debut in television with the series ‘Unnatural History’ in 2010, followed by her role as a vampire in ‘My Babysitter’. Dalton is also known for her appearance in ‘Christmas Wedding Planner’ and ‘Total Frat Movie’.

Karl E Lander

Karl E Lander is a French actor known for his roles in ‘Metal Hurlant Chronicles’ and ‘Sitting Duck’. He also served as producers for a couple of projects. In ‘Christmas in Paris’, Karl will be playing the lead as Lucas.

Justin G Dyck has helmed Erica Brennan’s script for ‘Christmas in Paris’. Having predominantly worked in Christmas-themed projects, Justin is known for directing movies such as, ‘Christmas with a View’, ’48 Christmas Wishes’ ‘and ‘Christmas Wedding Planner’.

The official trailer for ‘Christmas in Paris’ released on October 30. The one-minute-long video takes us through Lucas and Robin’s relationship, which begins when they come together for a work-related project, and ends up with them sharing a kiss on the streets of Paris.
