'Chicago PD' Season 8 Episode 10 Spoilers: Tragedy hits NBC show as Ruzek's father goes missing
NBC’s highly-popular show ‘Chicago PD’ is finally coming back with a new episode on Wednesday, March 31, at 10 pm ET. The show took a break last week and no new episode was aired on March 24. However, the show is back with Episode 10 and it is surely going to be one helluva ride.
Fans get really frustrated with such breaks because the show is getting intense with each passing day. However, the ongoing pandemic plays a significant role in these frequent breaks. The makers and the network is trying to end the season in May, which means the show might take more breaks through the season.
However, the show still promises to give viewers an entertaining season.

‘Chicago PD’ Season 8 Episode 9 Recap
Episode 9 saw Atwater and Adam Ruzek responding to a phone call from the nearby hardware store where a shooting has happened. The owner of the hardware store has been shot. Ruzek tries to chase the shooter, but he gets away. Meanwhile, the owner, Roy, dies of his injuries.
The law enforcement agency identifies the drug dealer who runs the neighborhood as Quincy and says that Roy was getting inappropriate texts from an inexpensive phone leading up to his death. The only way to get close to Quincy is to get someone in with Damari. Voight decided to bring in Andre and asks him to go undercover.
Andre is able to win Damari's trust immediately and instantly becomes his friend. Damari defends Andre when he tells him that Andre is working with the cops. Quincy shoots Damari and learns that Andre is indeed a police officer.

The promo released by the network gives us an idea that Ruzek’s father has gone missing and is in deep trouble. Ruzek gets a video call from his dad and we see him bleeding through his nose. It seems he has been beaten up by someone who wants to take revenge on Ruzek.
Without any guesses, Ruzek is worried about his father. The entire team of Chicago PD gets involved in the search operation. During the ending moments of the promo, we see Ruzek asking his dad’s whereabouts from someone.
The 16-second clip gives us an idea of how thrilling the upcoming episode is going to be. Ruzek will be on his toes to find his father while the entire team will be providing assistance to one of their own.
So, who is messing with Ruzek? Is someone from the past has come up to hurt Ruzek and his family? How will Ruzek react to his father’s disappearance? All the answers to such questions will be answered when ‘Chicago PD’ returns for a new episode.
