LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Flash' has been mired in controversy for untold months now, thanks to star Ezra Miller’s many scandals and we’re still six weeks away from its release. A contingent of superhero fans even pushed for the film to be shelved or reshot without Miller, because of the severity of the allegations against them. But the myriad claims of Miller’s bad behavior haven’t stopped new DC Studios boss James Gunn and Warner Bros. Discovery exec David Zaslav from calling it one of the “greatest superhero movies” in recent memory.  In superhero lore, few things are as thrilling as seeing an old favorite don the suit of a beloved character once more. And in the new and final trailer for 'The Flash,' viewers are getting even more of Michael Keaton as Batman, a role he last played 31 years ago in 1992’s Tim Burton classic 'Batman Returns.'

Worlds collide in 'The Flash's new trailer

The trailer shows Miller’s Flash breaking the universe to save his parents, which creates a great reversal. He gets help from a new Supergirl (Sasha Calle) and both Batmans, the other with Ben Affleck reprising his role from the Synderverse. Michael Shannon’s General Zod appears to create mayhem, but he gets knocked out by Supergirl. In regards to Miller’s future with the DC universe, bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran said at the presser earlier this year that the actor was making progress with their therapy and that Miller’s future with the franchise isn’t a closed door. We guess assessment will be made post the box office numbers.

'The movie is a remake of Man of steel'

However, fans were quick to note how Miller scathed off with a big film even after major scandals. A fan said, "The visuals looks very odd at points but the story sounds really compelling." A fan wrote, "Movie looks cool but the CGI looks absolutely horrible," while another added, "Lol the movie is a remake of Man of steel even some dialogues. 😂😂Hope gonna fail miserably." A fan commented, "If this movie was supposed to reset the universe that means they had no plans to do anything with the universe they created in the first place. The entire time we got one justice league movie, and movies as backstory for ww and Aquaman but they lead to nothing bigger." Lastly, a fan noted, "Too bad it stars an actual predator that they want us to believe is a hero."
