Carole Radziwill quits 'Real Housewives of New York': 'I'm thrilled to leave frenemies behind'

After being on six consecutive seasons of the show, 54-year-old Carole Radziwill is finally saying goodbye to the 'Real Housewives of New York'

Carole Radziwill has tuned out of her journey on Bravo’s 'The Real Housewives of New York City' saying the most Carolesque goodbye to those she calls her 'frenemies.' In a recent statement, the 54-year-old award-winning journalist and best-selling author opened up about how she's going to depart the hit reality series which she has been on since its fifth season. 

“After six seasons on Bravo’s 'RHONY', I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing,” she shared in an exclusive statement to People magazine. “I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind,” she added. “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”

But of course her statement wasn't missing the one last dig that she just couldn't seem to withhold. “I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind,” Radziwill wrote — possibly a nod to her BFF-turned-nemesis Bethenny Frankel. “I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next.”
