'Cant wait to see 3 perfect flawless women': Fans on cloud nine as new poster for 'The Marvels' releases

A Marvel fan wrote, 'This is the best poster they’ve released in forever! This is absolutely GORGEOUS'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA : The first 'The Marvels' movie poster has been released by Marvel Studios as a teaser for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Brie Larson will reprise her role as Captain Marvel in the 'Captain Marvel' sequel, and she will be joined by two additional MCU superheroes, Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, also known as Ms Marvel.

In 'WandaVision', Teyonah Parris makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Monica, a heroine who acquired supernatural abilities while infiltrating a community ruled by Scarlet Witch. With the release of the new poster comes the news of the postponement of the release date for the film. The movie will now be released on November 10, 2023. It was previously slated to hit theaters on July 28.

Superhero costumes explained

All three of the characters seen in 'The Marvels' movie poster have already appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this is the first official look at the upcoming Marvel Studios film, and it shows off two new outfits. In the Ms Marvel post-credits sequence where Kamala took Carol's place, the identity of Captain Marvel's costume was previously revealed. Compared to the suit Captain Marvel wore in 'Avengers: Endgame', this one features shorter sleeves and a sleeke, subtle appearance.

The SWORD suit Monica Rambeau wore in 'WandaVision' is exchanged for a legitimate superhero outfit. Although it differs from the comic book version of the character, it fits in just fine with other MCU superheroes. Though it's not the same starburst shape as Captain Marvel's, Monica's outfit includes a symbol in the middle of her chest. In addition, Kamala receives a new suit with a darker blue colour and additional embellishments on the sleeves and legs.

Some fans are quite excited after seeing the new poster while others are sad about the postponed release date. A fan wrote, "Oh man I cant wait to see 3 perfect flawless woman with the same personality kickin man ass ! Is gonna be epic ." Further, someone tweeted, "I’m so excited! My ex husband used to love marvel movies (he passed away peacefully while attempting to rob a bank) I love him though. Can’t wait to watch this!" Other fans were upset about the release date with one saying "Wtf I thought it was coming out in july." People loved the poster as a fan wrote, "Give this artists/the artists a raise. The poster is so dope" Another tweeted, "This poster is absolutely beautiful." Continuing the appreciation, a fan remarked, "This is the best poster they’ve released in forever! This is absolutely *GORGEOUS*"
