HGTV is about to premiere one more fresh new offering that draws on the touchstone themes of transformation and inspiration. 'Build Me Up' has been added to the summer line up of the network and here is everything you need to know about the series that premieres later this month.

Release date

'Build Me Up' premieres on July 22, 2020, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday night at 9 pm ET only on HGTV.

Plot

HGTV's website states: "In the new HGTV series 'Build Me Up', Orlando Soria will work with homeowners as they embrace a big life change to overhaul their home and create the fresh start they deserve. Through beautiful design, humor and a healthy dose of moral support, Orlando will help his clients — including an empty nester, a recent widow, and a single father — transition into their next chapter by infusing their homes with uniquely personalized elements that will change their lives for the better."

Host

Orlando Soria

Orlando Soria is an interior designer, writer and visual artist who lives in Los Angeles, California. He is also the founder of a full-service design studio: Homemaker. He started with HGTV as Emily Henderson's on-camera assistant on the home makeover series 'Secrets From A Stylist'. From there, he moved on to host the show 'Unspouse My House' on the same network where he'd help heartbroken people revamp their space after a divorce or a breakup. Soria comes from a fine arts background and he acquired an education at Cornell’s School of Architecture, Art and Planning and The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design. He believes, "Interior design isn’t just about practicality and function. It’s also about creating a space that represents your personality, your history, that tells the world who you are, where you’ve been, what you want your life to be, and how you want to live it."
