Eve Raytek (Kim Dickens), who all along presented herself as a dear friend of Felicity Dill, is now busy planning her participation in the upcoming elections, conveniently forgetting a twin bombing which has left the city shaken.

She went on to make the best of the least ideal situation, despite losing an efficient officer Lalo (David Zaldivar), who fell prey to Clyde Brattle's (Alan Cumming) revenge on Jake Spivey (Jay R Ferguson).

The latest episode of 'Briarpatch' is top-notch in terms of action and eccentricity, which has been the main essence of the series since its inception. However, it seems like the characters from 'The Most Sinful MF---er Alive' have left fans totally dumbfounded by bringing out the worst in them.

On watching the latest episode, fans aren't able to stop discussing Eve Raytek, the police chief whose intentions they just don't seem to understand. One fan wrote, "I've always thought that Chief Raytek was shady. #Briarpatch."

"They do need a new mayor but I don't trust her. #Briarpatch," added another to the previous tweet.

And some felt introducing her into politics was an absurd move. "She's like what you mean Lalo is dead. Is this a political speech Chief? Are you running for something talking like that? Of  course #Briarpatch."

Nevertheless, fans are super thrilled about finding a new villain in Alan Cumming's character Clyde Brattle who headlined the latest offering of 'Briarpatch'. One wrote, "Sipping a martini while watching families locked in a burning building. Now that's some villain s#!%"

"Clyde reminds me of the big villains from another USA show, 'Burn Notice'. Every time Michael ran into a psychopath, they just kept getting worse and worse. Clyde is the kind of villain you end a series with because it doesn't get worse. #Briarpatch," another added.

A few fans who thought Lalo was the only good soul in the forbidden city, who was secretly sheltering the immigrants, are seen mourning his loss.

Meanwhile, commenting on the last episode, one fan expressed, "How many awful people are actually in this show? Captain Colder has something going on with Clyde. Eve has her agenda. I have no idea what Jake's endgame is. There are so many webs being spun right now. #Briarpatch."

‘Briarpatch’ airs on Mondays on USA Network.
