With less than a month to go before 'Black Adam' makes its official premiere, the rumor mills are churning. The latest buzz is the reported appearances of Viola Davis' Amanda Waller and Superman in the film's post-credit scene. While speculations of a Black Adam vs Henry Cavill's 'Man of Steel' skirmish have been doing the rounds, the post-credits just might spice things up and give DCEU fans something to look forward to.

Per WB, the official synopsis reads, "From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action-adventure 'Black Adam'. The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC Super Hero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra ('Jungle Cruise'). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world."

Will Henry Cavill's Superman appear in 'Black Adam'?

While a speculative feature from GiantFreakinRobot suggests that there is a cameo appearance by Superman and Amanda Waller, there is no confirmation whether Cavill returns as the Kryptonian hero. The site added that there will be some dialogue exchanged between the duo where Dwayne Johnson's Adam will reportedly be heard saying, “There’s no one on this planet that can stop me” and Superman replies, “Good thing I’m not from this planet."

There are a number of ways this storyline could go. For starters, Johnson has been teasing Adam vs Superman fight for some time now, although that's unlikely to happen in the movie. Plus, there is no inkling of which Superman will be seen in the film. Will DC pull off another 'Peacemaker' by just showing a silhouette of the 'Man of Steel'? Or is this the much-awaited re-entry of Cavill into the DCEU? Either way, there's a lot to look forward to when 'Black Adam' premieres on October 21 in cinemas.
