It was a rather different 'Billions' experience. Season 6 of the Showtime drama had an early release for fans and those who caught it after Sunday Night Football were sorely missing the charm and b**s of Damian Lewis' Bobby Axelrod and that was a sentiment that was echoed by fans on Twitter.

Season 5 ended with Mike Prince buying AxeCap from Axe and paying him two billion upfront. It also saw the latter avoid going to prison after the cannabis deal goes bad. Rhoades bent on arresting Axe comes to know about Prince's move that saw his target slip away to Switzerland. Wendy (Maggie Siff) is heartbroken as Axe decides to travel, while he intends to stay back and take care of the family. Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon) will almost certainly work with Mike as the new boss. Only time will tell if she decides to change her mind and work on her relationship with Axe.
