'Below Deck': Has Captain Lee taken pain pills, is he aware of maritime laws? Fans slyly troll Malia, Sandy

'Below Deck' Season 8 has returned but hasn't gotten off to a great start. Captain Lee Rosbach was not in the best shape when the crew members arrived on the yacht. He was in the hospital for a little while treating himself for damaged ribs. He had an accident but is recovering now.

However, bosun Eddie Lucas who shares quite the rapport with the Captain, seemed on the edge and honestly, a little confused on what to expect from the days to come given his injuries. "I'm trying to stay composed, I'm trying to stay professional in front of the new crew," Lucas said and added: "Deep down I am panicking a little bit. I don't know the severity of his injuries and we have a charter coming on in less than 24 hours."

Meanwhile, fans have slyly troll Malia White and Captain Sandy Yawn of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' on social media. Why? They had fired chief stew Hannah Ferrier in their season over use of Valium for her anxiety attack. She didn't have a prescription for it and so, was asked to leave because if there are no paperwork for it then it could be a legal hassle. Sandy pointed out that the maritime laws are strict and if any of the crew members or guests are caught with drugs on board then she could lose her license and boat could be confiscated. 

"#BelowDeck Gosh, I sure hope Capt Lee doesn't take any pain killers without checking with maritime law," a fan commented, while another pointed out: "Wait... if Cap broke some ribs he lost def has some pain killers. There must be some maritime law about that? I’ll ask Malia. #BelowDeck."



 



 

"Well since we are now well versed in Maritime Law, we know @capthlr is pushing through these broken ribs meds free #BelowDeck," a user tweeted. "So did they give Captain Lee pain meds? And if so is he allowed to drive the boat cuz of maritime law and all. #belowdeck," another posted.
