Ballet dancer Skyler bags golden ticket on 'American Idol', fans say 'he was worth the wait'
Did 'American Idol' Season 20 just find its next big superstar already? At least that's what the ABC show's fans felt after watching Skyler Maxey-Wert's audition performance. Skyler, a 25-year-old ballet dancer from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, not only impressed the show's judges with his impeccable vocals but also by revealing that Brandon Boyd from Incubus urged him to audition for the show!
The young ballet dancer wowed the judges with his dance moves as well. So needless to say he got a yes from Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, as well as the fans. Just like the judges, the fans too were pleasantly surprised by the ballet dancer's powerful vocals. Several fans took to Twitter other social media channels to report that they experience 'goosebumps' and could feel his passion in his performance.
