'Avengers: Endgame' review: [Spoliers] The grand finale has laughter, tears and everything in between

From witnessing the comedic side of Thor to seeing Hulk embrace who he is, 'Avengers: Endgame' shows us that, in the end, our heroes are just like all of us

*Spoiler Alert*

When Marvel first released the trailer for 'Avengers: Endgame', we knew that things were not looking good for the Avengers.

However, the movie makes sure that the audience gets to witness the best performance by our superheroes and what better way to do so than by bringing all of them together. The movie stands by its name and every second of the 180 minutes sees ten different emotions. From witnessing the comedic side of Thor to seeing Hulk embrace who he is, this movie shows us that, in the end, our heroes are just like all of us.

The movie begins with Tony Stark recording his last thoughts and waiting for a miracle to happen while he is stuck in space. However, things are not too different down on earth either.

Avengers are shown trying to put on a brave face and see a ray of hope in the darkness in 'Avengers: Endgame'

The remaining Avengers are shown trying to put on a brave face and see a ray of hope in the darkness that has taken over their world. While things seem unpredictable, the viewers get to see how, sometimes, there is a solution even to things that we thought couldn't work out.

Their battle with Thanos is the perfect example of the triumph of good over evil. Apart from the fight, it was the strength and understanding among the Avengers that stood out the most in the film. There are people that our heroes have lost, things that have been forgotten but, through all this, they all stick together.

Just like every other Avenger movie, this movie also stood by the idea of how love and good can conquer all as we get to witness the insurmountable strength our heroes can wield when they come together to fight for good.

The movie also empowered the women superheroes of the world in a special scene which saw the female Marvel superheroes coming together and taking the lead.

In all the Marvel movies, female superheroes have been designated their respective roles. However, this movie was a bit different. While the ladies took charge of what they should do, Marvel proved with just one scene that women can do anything and are unstoppable if they join forces together.

At the same time, the movie ended with a special tribute to the creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee.

Stan Lee, who died on 12 November 2018, has always made an appearance in the Marvel movies. Unfortunately, he died before shooting his scene for 'Avengers Endgame'. Despite this, the showrunners made sure that the legend is not forgotten. This special tribute not only brings back old memories for an avid fan but also shows us how the movie would have been impossible without him.

With a perfect blend of laughter and tears, this movie made sure that it tugged at each and every emotional chord in the hearts of the viewers.

Even though we had to bid goodbye to some of our favorite heroes, 'Avengers: Endgame' ends on a happy note for the rest of our superheroes.

While there may be no more Avengers, this movie has given something worthwhile for us to remember them by.
