'AP Bio' was originally an NBC series that got canceled on the network after two seasons and fans fought to bring it back. Now, the cult comedy that has a well-rounded fan base will be excited to know that Season 3 of the series will head to Peacock in early September. Here is what we know of the upcoming Season 3 release.

Release date

‘AP Bio’ Season 3 will premiere with all eight episodes on September 3, 2020.

Plot

The comedy series chronicles the teaching life of disgraced Harvard philosophy student Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) in Toledo, Ohio. The official Season 3 synopsis is yet to be released, but the trailer gives a great glimpse into the hilarity of the season.

Cast

Glenn Howerton as Jack Griffin

Glenn Howerton attends the premiere of Universal Pictures' "The Hunt" at ArcLight Hollywood on March 09, 2020 in Hollywood, California.

Howerton is known for his roles as Dennis Reynolds in 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' (2005-2019), Mike in 'The Strangers' (2008), Lilac Young Tough in 'Serenity' (2005) and a doctor in 'Crank' (2006). His most recent works include 'The Hunt' (2020), 'The Fugitive' (2020) and 'Archenemy' coming in 2021. Howerton plays Jack Griffin, who has a job teaching biology at a local high school. Except he has no intention of ever teaching the kids science – he wants to use them for revenge.

Patton Oswalt as Principal Ralph Durbin

Patton Oswalt attends the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on February 09, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California.

Oswalt is a comedian and an actor known for his roles as Matt Freehauf in 'Young Adult' (2011), Remy (voice) in 'Ratatouille' (2007), Roache in 'Seeking a Friend for the end of the world' (2012) and Todd Mahel in 'The Secret Like of Walter Mitty' (2013). His most recent works include 'We Bare Bears: The Movie' (2020), 'Adventures in Wonder Park' (2020), and Mapleworth murders' which is in post-production.

Creator

Michael Patrick O'Brien is listed as the creator of the show.

Trailer

The trailer is short but as usual matches the energy of its first two seasons with its nonchalant and '30 Rock' like comedy. Howertown and Oswalt take center stage in the trailer, as it does in the series itself and their lack of knowledge on how to properly run a school or teach advanced classes make for a hilarious binge-watching session.
