Anastasia Milosskaya murder: Girl, 14, who hired assassins to kill mom may face charges as she's declared sane
MOSCOW, RUSSIA: A 14-year-old schoolgirl who allegedly ordered the contract killing of her single mother has been declared sane and can face court for murder. The girl, who is being detained in Russia, reportedly hired teenage assassins to murder her mom, Anastasia Milosskaya, 38. Milosskaya's body was later found wrapped in plastic and a mattress, dumped in a garbage skip in Balashikha, Moscow region.
Police arrested her daughter along with a 15-year-old boy who was living at the family's flat. A police medical examination has now revealed that the girl, who has not been named, was of "sound mind" when she decided to order the killing. Should she face court on murder charges, she may face a maximum potential punishment of ten years starting in a youth correctional colony.

'She was a typical ordinary teenager'
Milosskaya had reportedly asked the boy to leave their flat as she believed he was not a good influence on her daughter. It is suspected that the girl and the boy together planned and ordered two other teenagers to carry out the murder. The duo allegedly ordered them to kill Milosskaya for $4310.25. The girl has decided to get the money from her mom's savings.
"I had no doubt about [her sanity]," said a family friend at Milosskaya's funeral, according to the Daily Mail. "I assure you she was a typical ordinary teenager. That's the worst part." All the accused are between the ages of 14 and 17. They are suspected of murder or conspiracy to murder. They were all remanded in a young persons' detention facility for one month. Further investigations are pending.
The girl and the boy, who are accused of allowing their "accomplices" into the flat, were reportedly present when the killers attacked Milosskaya in her home. They killed the mom and left her body in the flat, returning two days later to carry it out on a makeshift stretcher and dumping it. The next morning, a janitor noticed the body in the rubbish skip.
'She was beaten and strangled'
According to the Investigative Committee, the young duo had planned to live on Milosskaya's savings. "She was beaten and strangled, as her whole face was red and swollen," an eyewitness said.
A friend of the daughter said, "She spoke about hating her mother many times, even though her mother was a good person who loved her." According to the girl's grandmother, she was influenced by the boy who she said was from a "difficult family". Other sources, too, described Milosskaya as someone who always cared for her daughter abd sought to improve her own life.
