Friday saw a two-year-long wait come to an end with Amazon Prime Video dropping the first two episodes of a brand new season of the hit comedy-drama 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.' Last seen in December of 2019, Midge's return seemed to make many viewers happy, and the show's fans took to social media to express their joy.

Kicking off right after the events that unfolded in the Season 3 finale, Season 4 of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' will see Midge finding her way back after her up-and-coming career was cut short abruptly due to an insensitive set. Having nearly outed Shy Baldwin by riffing on his effeminate behavior among other things, Midge and Susie get fired right before Shy and his ensemble leave to tour Europe.

'Rumble on the Wonder Wheel,' Episode 1 of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel,' saw Midge facing her family and confessing to them about her dismissal but the way she chose to do it has set the Internet ablaze. Hopping onto an empty carriage of a Ferris Wheel filled with her relatives, Midge breaks it down to them in a scene filled with overlapping conversations, adding chaos to the already chaotic responses that she receives.

"The first episode of #TheMarvelousMrsMaisel was written so well!! The Ferris wheel scene is probably one of the best scenes in TV I’ve ever seen," a fan tweeted. Another seconded, tweeting "Ok, the Ferris Wheel scene in this week's episode of #TheMarvelousMrsMaisel is some of the funniest shit I've seen in my life!"

"IS YOUR FUNNEL CAKE DELICIOUS?!" - Shirley Maisel That Ferris Wheel scene will live in my mind rent free for a while. #TheMarvelousMrsMaisel," a fan shared, referring to a character who was more worried about whether the family liked a cake she had made. Another fan tweeted about how hilarious the entire scene was, adding that they "had really missed this show."

However, that wasn't all Twitter had to say about the premiere, as some felt that the creators couldn't let Midge get away with what she had to say about Shy Baldwin. "I really hope Amy Sherman-Palladino is not trying to have us empathize with Midge after she outed Shy Baldwin #TheMarvelousMrsMaisel," a tweet read. A fan of the series, hoping the issue would be addressed, tweeted "as much as i love midge, she better have a moment where she takes accountability for what she did at the apollo #TheMarvelousMrsMaisel"
