'All American' Season 2 Episode 8 Preview: The fall finale could bring more shocking revelations and questions about death to the table

In a short 21-second promo, the family goes for the funeral and performs the last rites. The fall finale will air on Monday, December 2, 2019

Death makes you question life. After 'All American' bid farewell to Corey, the next episode comes with many new challenges. In Episode 7, Spencer, Grace, Dillon, and Darnell locate Corey and convince him to go home with them.

As the family gets set to go back home, there comes a big shock. "Dad?" Spencer calls out to Corey and realizes he is not moving from his chair.

Just the night before, Corey confesses to Grace how the day has been the most peaceful for him. It is poetic how he dies peacefully in his sleep. But, Episode 8 will reveal how the James family copes with his death.

Titled 'Life Goes On', the episode summary reads: "With everything going on, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) can’t get excited about his football ranking and gets some guidance from Layla (Greta Onieogou), who in turn realizes it might not be the best advice for anyone, including her."

"Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) gets some more news he wasn’t expecting, and Laura (Monet Mazur) makes a decision about where she and Billy (Taye Diggs) stand," the summary adds.

"Meanwhile, Asher (Cody Christian) gets some clarity from his parents on what happened in the last year, which helps Olivia (Samantha Logan) and Asher to figure out their own stuff, too," it further reads.

In a short 21-second promo, the family goes for the funeral and performs the last rites. Layla comes to meet Spencer and she confesses how she has questions about her mom's death. "What if my mom killed herself?" she asks. Spencer tells her, "There's no way to know."

As it might be the last glimpse of the series before it goes for a short winter break, there may be more surprises and shocks in the episode. Avi Youbian directed the episode and was written by John A. Norris and Laura Nava. The fall finale will air on Monday, December 2 at 8 pm ET on The CW.
