'Why is he on AGT?': Fans ask after watching Emmy nominated comedian Mike E Winfield's performance
NBC's long-time talent-hunt show 'America's Got Talent' is a great platform for aspiring/ struggling entertainers to not only showcase their talents to the world but also get the life-changing opportunity of winning a $1 Million prize money and performing a headliner act in Las Vegas. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the show attracts some very talented performers from across the corners of the globe.
The premiere episode of 'AGT' season 17 featured comedian Mike E. Winfield performing his stand-up routine. Though the judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara, couldn't get enough of his hilarious comedy set and put him through to the next round, fans however didn't share the same feelings. While the fans acknowledged that Mike's jokes were really good, they however were taken aback by his decision to compete on the show alongside other unknown entertainers, while he already has his own comedy special show on Prime Video, and was even nominated for Daytime Emmy Award!
