Sometimes an act is too daring even for the judges of 'America's Got Talent'. Season 17's hopeful Burning Joe aka Joe Toedtling learned this the hard way. Burning Joe, an Austrian-born stuntman got onto the 'AGT' stage on the premiere episode of the NBC talent hunt show's new season. Dressed in a smart suit, Joe announced that he would be singing a song to his wife.

As he just began to break into his song, Simon Cowell immediately hit the buzzer indicating his no. But Joe remained undeterred and continued his performance by setting himself on fire. Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel got really uncomfortable watching him sing while he was on fire. So they all pressed the no buzzer as well. Once the performance was done, the judges wasted no time in giving their unanimous verdict of a resounding no and rushing Burning Joe off the stage. After watching Burning Joe's fiery act, fans had some mixed feelings about it.

Many fans mocked Burning Joe's daring performance. A fan tweeted, "OMG!! That singing fire act was insane... #AGT." "That guy was ON FIRE!! #AGT," joked a fan. "I've seen too many people get caught on fire within the last two years give it up. I don't hate it it's just getting repetitive #AGT," wrote a fan. Few other fans had far more kind feedback on Burning Joe's performance. A fan shared, "The best act of the night by far was a man setting himself ON FIRE and proceeded to sing a whole ass song while ON FIRE. Every judge buzzed him out while the audience booed him. That’s how utterly useless #AGT has become." " This guy hilarious lit himself on fire singing for is wife #AGT," pointed out a fan. "He was on fire and singing at the same time, if that’s not dedication I don’t know what it is. #AGT," declared an awestruck fan.
