PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Keren Montero Mendoza first caught the attention of audiences as a contestant on ‘Dominicana's Got Talent’ season 2, where she wowed judges with her rendition of the gospel song 'Rise Up' and earned the coveted Golden Buzzer, sending her directly to the next round. She ultimately went on to win the competition.

Keren first appeared on 'AGT' as a 14-year old and is making a return to the fold via ‘America’s Got Talent: All-Stars’ 2023. Here we take a detailed look at the Christian singer amidst her return to the 'AGT' fold.

Who is Keren Montero?

At just 16 years old, Montero is already making a name for herself in the music industry. She is a student at Look At Me International School and is dedicated to continue to learn and grow in her craft. Her LinkedIn bio states, "I am a Christian singer, and at my young age I have gained some experiences in that area. I have been a judge in singing contests and I have also won some first places in very important contests, such as the Dominican's Got Talent. So I think I can contribute a lot of my knowledge to others."

Montero Mendoza has a strong presence on social media, with over 74k followers on Instagram and 18k followers on YouTube. On Instagram, she describes herself as a "Worshiper of Christ Singer" and often shares videos of her leading worship and singing in her church. In January 2023, she released a gospel track titled ‘Christo Vuelve'.

While Keren has not posted a lot of details about her personal life, she writes the following about her goals: "For me it is important to continue learning about what I like and teach others who need it."

There is little doubt that the former winner will be a huge competitor on the show as singers usually have an edge when it comes to audience votes on the show. The gospel singer might just duplicate her previous win on the American stage.

'AGT: All-Stars' 2023 premiered on Monday, January 2, 2023 on NBC.
