LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Guess who is Marvel considering as the frontrunner in and as Mr Fantastic? Adam Driver - the actor behind Kylo Ren from 'Star Wars' sequel trilogy - may be a front-runner to play the MCU's new Reed Richards in 'Fantastic Four'. One of the most-discussed roles comes with Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic, who will lead both the team and the blockbuster movie. Names such as Penn Badgley, John Krasinski, and Diego Luna, but one recent actor to enter the mix has been the Oscar-nominated Adam Driver. Furthermore, John Krasinki was seen as the last Mr Fantastic in the last 'Doctor Strange' movie.

Adam Driver is fairly known for starring in HBO comedy-drama series 'Girls'. Driver began his film career in supporting roles in Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln' (2012), Noah Baumbach's 'Frances Ha' (2012), and the Coen brothers' 'Inside Llewyn Davis' (2013). He won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for his lead role in the drama 'Hungry Hearts' (2014).

Late last year, industry insider Jeff Sneider said he'd heard that Adam Driver ('Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker', 'House of Gucci') might be in the mix to play Reed Richards - or possibly Doctor Doom - in Marvel Studios' 'Fantastic Four' reboot.

Beyond the Trailer's Grace Randolph indicated that Driver is "a front-runner for a certain stretchy role," and there are many tweets that suggest the same. Neither source is known for being particularly reliable, though both have had occasional scoops pan out.

'Fantastic Four' is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name. It is a reboot of the 'Fantastic Four' franchise and will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the casting is currently believed to be underway as one of the “big-get roles” of the year.
