Spoiler alert for 'For Life' Episode 2
The wrongful conviction of Aaron Wallace in 'For Life' has offered television a story that has managed to create a conversation among viewers by shedding light on systematic injustice. The show is loosely based on the real-life story of Isaac Wright Jr.
The pilot episode of ABC's legal drama has been well-received by the viewers. People are already sympathizing with Aaron and drawing inspiration from his story to bring attention to the evil-doers in the realm of justice, whose persistent presence is the matter of concern in real life too.
Episode 1 of 'For Life' introduced us to the former bar owner and now a prisoner, Aaron Wallace (Nicholas Pinnock), who is being punished for a crime he never committed. However, Aaron has chosen to stand defiant against the system by legally representing himself to overturn his conviction.
He needs to fight an uphill battle not just with a faulty system, but also the men from the District Attorney office, who aren’t able to watch him fight for the rights of his fellow-inmates, let alone his own.
In Episode 2 of ‘For Life’, Aaron is faced with more challenges as he sues NYPD to get hold of his case file, which could serve as his ticket to freedom. However, the reminiscence of a crime, which he never committed, puts Marie Wallace (Joy Bryant) in a tough spot as she gets named during the interrogation.
