'A Little Christmas Charm': Meet Ashley Greene, Brendan Penny and rest of the cast of Hallmark’s holiday film
It is never too early to start Christmas celebrations. It is one of the most anticipated festivals of the year. So, dust off those decorations from the storeroom, gear up for a nice home-cooked meal and, of course, buy presents for your loved ones. Due to the ongoing pandemic this year, the celebrations might be less elaborate but the holiday spirit can never be dampened. We still can celebrate and be happy – even if it means virtual merrymaking for some.
To keep spirits high, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of the network’s annual ‘Miracles of Christmas’ programming event will premiere the movie ‘A Little Christmas Charm’.
The official synopsis reads, “When jewelry designer Holly finds a lost charm bracelet in the pocket of a vintage coat, she instantly knows it’s an important piece of jewelry and wants to find the owner and return the bracelet by Christmas Eve.
After running into investigative reporter Greg, they team up in hopes of tracking down the owner, all while sparks begin to fly between the two in the race to return the charm bracelet.” But before you watch the movie, here are the details of the dynamic cast.
Ashley Greene
Greene is best known for playing Alice Cullen in the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's ‘Twilight’ novels. Other films in which she acted are ‘Bombshell’, ‘LOL’ and ‘A Warrior's Heart’. Greene starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original premiere ‘Christmas on My Mind’. She was also part of projects such as ‘Accident Man’, ‘Antiquities’, ‘In Dubious Battle’, ‘Urge’, ‘Shangri-La Suite’, ‘Staten Island Summer’ and ‘Wish I Were Here’ and ‘Butter’.
Brendan Penny
He is a native of Ottawa and then moved to Vancouver after college to pursue a career in acting. Penny was part of Hallmark Channel’s family drama 'Chesapeake Shores', and in 2016 he was part of crime drama 'Motive' for four seasons. His other acting credits include 'Easter Under Wraps', 'Pride, Prejudice and Mistletoe', and 'A Dash of Love'. He guest-starred in shows such as ‘Flashpoint’, ‘The Killing’ and ‘Supernatural’.
Other cast members include Britt Irvin, Barclay Hope, Anne Marie Deluise, Megan Leitch, Jennifer Koenig and Fred Keating. ‘A Little Christmas Charm’ is produced by Charm Bracelet Productions Inc. Michael Goldstein, Alex Coscas and Ben Silverman serve as executive producers. Shel Piercy is the producer. It is directed by Rich Newey directed and the script is by Christine Conradt and Will Penick.
In a short preview, featured on their official website, we see our female protagonist determined to return a Christmas charm bracelet she found. The leads decide to team up to find the rightful owner of the bracelet before Christmas.
One can clearly see sparks flying between the two. The festive decorations and the snow, make the trailer even more special and intriguing for the viewer. So, do they find the owner and whether our protagonists end up together? These answers will only be answered when you watch the movie.
‘A Little Christmas Charm’ will premiere on Sunday, December 6, at 10 pm ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
