'90 Day Fiancé': Varya's mother fears for daughter's safety after hearing about Geoffrey's criminal past
Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina took the next step in their relationship as the two meet up with her mother. Varya was excited for Geoffrey to finally meet her parents but the smile was soon turned into a frown when she found out about the criminal past.
Geoffrey told Lana that he was sent to prison for dealing with drugs. Lana confessed she would have not taken the relationship forward had she known about the criminal past before. Despite this, she decided to give Geoffrey another chance and admitted that it looked like he was a changed man.
However, the biggest struggle for them was to open up about this to Varya's mother, Larissa. Geffrey decided he would break the news to them but what he did not expect was for Varya's brother, Sergy, to join in. The four of them sat down together and Varya decided to break the news to them.
She revealed he was sent to prison for dealing with drugs and it was news that left Larissa and Sergy disappointed. Larissa hinted she always had her doubts about Geoffrey and did not expect him to be the good man that he claimed to be. Meanwhile, Sergy also expressed his disappointment over this news.
He admitted it was a shock for him to see Varya with a man who had a criminal past as she had always been someone who was good at everything. Meanwhile, Larissa hinted she was worried something might happen to Varya if she were to go to the US. After hearing about the news, she second-guessed her decision of letting Varya marry Geoffrey.
She made it clear she did not want Varya to go down to the US. However, Varya tried to explain that Geoffrey was a changed man. Unfortunately, it did not change anything for Larissa and Sergy. Sergy tried to remind Varya of the saying they have in Polish that implies "people don't change".
Varya was left disappointed and broke down crying. While her mother gave her a hug to make her feel better, she hinted she is still not happy about the relationship. Will this be a dealbreaker for the couple?
