LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adam Driver's next film will be out soon, and based on what we've seen of '65', it appears to be some pretty amazing science fiction. '65' tells the tale of space travelers who crash-landed on Earth 65 million years ago and had to deal with dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. The film's directors, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, spoke with Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com when '65' had its press tour. When asked if they intend to expand their universe with a sequel, they gave a somewhat ambiguous response.

"I'll say this, we've gotten far enough as to go 'Alright. Would it be called 64 or 66?'" So, it seems that we'll just have to wait and see if 65 will get a sequel," said one of the directors.

65 is being produced by director Sam Raimi, with Bryan Woods directing and Scott Beck penning the screenplay. When the project was launched, Sony released a very short logline that said, "An astronaut who crash lands on a mysterious planet discovers that he is not alone." Here's a bit more from the original casting announcement: "Driver will play an opioid addict who has become a hopeless shadow of his former self. After a catastrophic accident, Driver's character joins forces with a 9-year-old girl who speaks a different language, and the two of them must work together to survive." With Ariana Greenblatt and Chloe Coleman named as cast members, Driver is also accompanied by some human contact at this point.

'65's previous release dates

'65' has had five release dates so far. The sci-fi movie was first scheduled to premiere on May 13, 2022, which was then moved ahead to April 29, 2022. It was then postponed to April 14, 2023, before being deposited and undergoing the most recent alteration in September. The new release date for the movie was confirmed to be March 10, 2023, but it was once again moved to compete with 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' on March 17, while avoiding the most recent release of the 'Scream' franchise.

'65' releases on March 17, 2023.
